Building on the brand and design language of Wacaco’s portable coffee makers, MokaMax aims to provide a more rugged and portable coffee making and drinking experience.

Designing a portable, all in one coffee mug as an extension of the Wacaco’s product line. Focusing on ease of storage and carry, maintaining brand recognition and bolder and rugged aesthetic.

Sporting a unique ridged silhouette to appeal to the wanderers - MokaMax blends easily with other rugged items in their backpack and also acts as place for fingers to nestle and rest. It also sports a multi-purpose flexible rope - that attaches to any gear/bag/accessory.

Machined with food grade stainless steel this flask will keep making coffee no matter the environment, be it a Library or a hilly cliff.

Understanding how MokaMax would be used

MokaMax is divided into 3 main compartments - which are all easily cleaned. The decomposable coffee filter pods can be thrown after each use further cutting down on cleaning.   The Pressure chamber and the top cap can be fastened easily and stowed away upside down in one piece without having the risk of losing or taking care of smaller parts.
